Spring 2018

IMPORTANT!  FROM THE DIOCESE OF OGDENSBURG

Considering the Present, Embracing the Past, Building for the Future

CLICK HERE FOR AN IMPORTANT PARENT SURVEY!

The Diocese of Ogdensburg is embarking on an extensive review of our Catholic Schools.  We are working with Advanc-Ed, Inc. to obtain accreditation for all the Catholic schools in our system.  Over the next year we will be asking students, parents, staff and our community to participate in this process.  The first step is find out “what is on your mind” and give you a chance to share your comments, ideas, and suggestions with us.  This information will be used to assess our current school programs and set goals for the future.

Advanc-Ed, Inc is an international organization who offers accreditation to schools and school systems through an extensive review process of all functions of the organization.  Included in the process is an on-site review that will occur during March 2019.  The review team will spend time analyzing the data, reports and information gathered during the review process and make site visits to some of our schools.  During the on-site visit Team members will interview parents, students, administration, staff and community members regarding their school community.  They will also spend time talking with diocesan administration and clergy.

A report of their findings, highlighting areas of strength and areas of improvement will be shared.  Accreditation determination will also be announced at that time.  The process continues as this report becomes the foundation of the long-range plans of the diocese and its schools.  This is a continuous process that requires us to review, update, and implement our goals.  On-site visits occur every five years.   This is an opportunity to receive unbiased feedback and counsel to continuously improve our schools and make them the best they can be, now and for the future.

Consider completing the SURVEY!  We will be surveying parents, students, staff and administrators in the next few weeks. This will be done May 21-31, 2018, through an on-line survey.  Parents, you will receive a letter from the Principal that contains the link to open the survey.  We will also post the link on this webpage.  Please contact the school if you have questions or need assistance.  Many thanks!

Congratulations to our Gala Honorees

We are so blessed that these three amazing women see the importance of Catholic education and give generously of their time, talent and treasure in support of TCS.  We were so proud to honor Ada Stoiber, Elsie Scruggs and Sr. Judy Adams at our Una Noche Elegante for their dedication to our school!

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to our VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR….Mrs. Sarah Tsibulsky! Sarah can be seen at Trinity on a very regular basis…helping in the cafeteria, creating billboards, running the school store, helping as room mom, organizing the Zumbathon (r) and as the president of the PTC (to name a FEW things). Her dedication to TCS is so complete that she has earned herself her own box in the office!  We are so grateful for the many, many ways she has helped Trinity over the last couple of years and are pleased to honor her as our Volunteer of the Year!

ONLY ONE TRINITY!  REGISTRATION CONTINUES!

There IS only one Trinity Catholic School in the North Country and we are proud of what we can offer our community.  We believe every child is a unique gift from God and that the gifts they bring to their environment are only theirs to share.

We teach our students that there is “Only One You,” and that every aspect of their being—physically, emotionally and spiritually—is what makes them a beautiful, special addition to our world. We teach the WHOLE child—body, mind and spirit—with quality, structured academic programs that are affordable for North Country children.  We offer confidential and generous scholarships for qualifying families in grades Kindergarten-6.

There are only a few seats left in our Pre-Kindergarten classes, so register SOON!  Questions? Please call the school office at 315-769-5911 or e-mail principal, Kathleen Behrens, at principa@twcny.rr.com. Click here for registration forms.
