 New Year New look

We are so excited about our new website design!  Many thanks to Ben and Andy LaValley at Northern Computer and Technology for launching us into the 21st Century with such a stylish new look.  We are hoping the new design will be more user-friendly as well as stylish.  We are continuing to update and change it as we learn how to use the new software. Please give us your feedback!  Is there anything you think we need to change?  E-mail Mrs. O’Neill at cathalumni@twcny.rr.com with your ideas!

Love Is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive

In several weeks, Pope Francis will be visiting the US.  During his visit in Philadelphia, there will be a World Meeting of Families.  What exactly is WMF?  “Since its inception by Saint John Paul II in 1994, the World Meeting of Families has strengthened the sacred bonds of families across the globe.  Held every three years and sponsored by the Holy See’s Pontifical Council for the Family, the World Meeting of Families is the world’s largest Catholic gathering of families. Each World Meeting of Families has a theme that energizes and enlivens the event while adding great depth of meaning to our understanding of families. The theme of the World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015 is “Love Is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive,” emphasizing the impact of the love and life of families on our society.”  For more information, click here.

We are so excited about the Pope’s visit to the U.S.!  Our teachers have been streaming video of the pontiff’s visit to the White House, Congress and the United Nations during classes, allowing students to witness firsthand these historical events.  As the World Meeting of Families continues in Philadelphia this weekend click here for more information, as well as streaming video, of events!

He also needs Halloween items like costumes, props, orange, white, black, and strobe lights, and a fog machine…AND someone who can help him make props. If you would like to help in any way, please call the school office, or if you are interested in hearing more about this fun event, please attend our first PTC meeting on September 15 at 6:30 pm in the Dining Hall.
