Share the Wisdom grandparents-day

We can’t wait for our students’ loved ones to join us for Share the Wisdom/Grandparents Day on Wednesday, October 26.  We have a very special day planned from 8:30 – 11:30 AM.

8:30—9:00  – Guests arrive and go to the Dining Hall for coffee, get instructions for the day, and/or visit the Book Fair.

9:00- Pick up students in the youngest or only student’s room and walk with them to Sacred Heart Church for a special Prayer Service featuring some beautiful singing by our Pre-K, Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade students.

9:45- All return to TCS for some special quality time.  During that time, you can visit any or all of these fun areas at your leisure:

Book Fair Buy some great books to foster your student’s love of reading.
Reading Time Read a story together.
Fun in the Gym Get moving and grooving with some fun activities.
Craft Make a special keepsake craft.
Brunch/Bake Sale Sit down for a nice brunch.
Photo Shoot Get a free picture taken together.
Family Tree/Heritage Explore your family heritage together.
Prayer in the Chapel Visit our new chapel for some quiet prayer time.
Family Quilt Square Design a quilt square that represents your family.
Dismissal is at 11:30 for everyone!

Please join us for our Bookaneer Scholastic Book Fair this week October 25 – 27!  Hours are Tuesday, 8:00 – 4:00, Wednesday,  8:00 – Noon,  and Thursday, 8:00 – 3:00.  If you can’t make it in, but would still like to still support this Fair, please click here for our Online Book Fair, which continues through November 7.  All books will be shipped to the school at no cost to you!

EARLY DISMISSAL

Just a reminder that there are NO BUSES, except for St. Lawrence Central, for dismissal on Wednesday, October 26 – our Share the Wisdom Day.  Dismissal is at 11:30.  There is NO Extended Day program on that day.

Many, many thanks to Sam, Amedeo and the Cappione Family, Tom Gramuglia, and Sharon and Al MCGrath for a WONDERFUL evening at our first Festa Italiana fundraiser!  What a wonderful meal we had in a beautiful atmosphere with the warmth of family and friends to lighten a dreary day!   Thank you also to Becky Glover for her divine desserts and to all of you for once again supporting our beloved school!  Every ticket you bought directly benefitted TCS due to the generosity of these families!

Join us for our first Fall Festa Italiana, an elegant Italian dinner, to be held on Saturday, October 22 at the River Road Restaurant at the Massena Country Club.  This delicioso sit-down meal, sponsored by Sam and Amedeo Cappione, Tom Gramuglia and Alphonso, will include a full appetizer table, Lobster Ravioli in Vodka Sauce, Italian Wedding Soup, Salad with Artisan Bread, and your choice of Chicken Marsala or Beef Tenderloin in Bourbon Sauce with baby potatoes and string beans.  A beautiful Italian dessert table will await you as the perfect finish for the evening.   Your meal includes water, coffee and tea with extra beverages available at the cash bar, in addition to the melodic sounds of live entertainers.  All of this will be available for only $35 per person.  Tickets will go on sale at Amici’s and the Trinity office on Monday, September 26 and is limited to 200 people.  Two seatings are available at 5:30 and 7:30 PM.  Please call the school office at 769-5911 with any questions you may have!  ALL PROCEEDS benefit Trinity!

jeansThe last Friday each month is typically set aside to wear jeans. September’s Jean Day will be Friday, September 30. October will have two Jeans Days! A special Jean Day will be held on Thursday, October 6, to raise money for Meals on Wheels. Please have your child bring in $.50 if he/she is wearing jeans.  The second Jean Day will be held on Friday, October 28.
