Good evening. This is Mrs. Giroux from Trinity Catholic School with a weekly update. Tomorrow, which will be a day 2, we will have a Monday morning prayer service led my Ms. Burns’ 3rd grade class. We will celebrate any birthdays for the week, honor our Disciples in Action and recognize our IReady winners for the week.
This week will be Wellness week, so Mrs. Butchino will have some healthy food choices on Wellness Wednesday, and Mrs. Boyea will provide a fun and fit activity for us on Get Fit Friday.
Thursday of this week is another Take Time Thursday. Our family support coordinator, Mrs. Behrens, is asking us to have a family discussion about – wait for it – something positive that happened during the pandemic. She is asking that after your discussion you create a poster, a journal page or picture and send it to school with your child or send it to Mrs. Baillargeon at firstname.lastname@example.org. The items sent to school will be posted around the school for our school community to see.
Mrs. Baillargeon also sent out a survey for parents to fill out asking about how you feel Trinity has done during our time during the pandemic. She is asking for parent testimonials which she will place on our webpage. Each person who submits a tribute will have their name in a drawing for a gift card from a local business.
Tomorrow begins our registration week! As mentioned on Dojo, emails and Sunday calls, registration will be online this year. You will be receiving an email from FACTS management inviting you to register. Returning students’ information will automatically be uploaded, but each family will need to officially register and create a parent account. Remember, the email address that you use on Facts Grant and Aid must match the email address you use to register. And, if you tell another family about Trinity and they actually enroll their child or children for the 2021-22 school year, you will receive $100.00 towards your tuition for that same year. And, as you know, our PreK3 and PreK4 classes fill up quickly, so if you are registering for one of those classes or know someone who is, please spread the word.
And, just a heads-up: there is a staff day listed on the yearly calendar on Friday, March 19. Instead of taking that day, we will have a staff day on Monday, March 22. We know that Massena Central students are all remote on Mondays, so we are trying to accommodate families who have students at Trinity and in the Junior High and High School.
