During the month of October I visited the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms to complete a lesson on feelings. We read a book about feelings and then each student had the opportunity to make feeling faces out of Playdough. We learned about the feelings happy, sad and mad.
Mrs. Herne received her Bachelors in psychology from SUNY Potsdam and a Cum Lade, Master of Social Work from State University of New York at Buffalo.
Mrs. Herne is a licensed clinical social worker and has a NYS board of Social Work Certification for licensure. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
