PTC—PARENT TEACHER CONNECTION: Research shows parental involvement in school events increases the level of success students achieve in school. We invite all parents to actively participate in our school’s PTC group. The PTC is a vital organization which serves the school in many ways: hospitality, welcoming new families, fundraising, extra-curricular activities, field trips, classroom parties and as cafeteria aides. The PTC usually meets on the second Tuesday of each month. It is a wonderful way to become involved in your child’s education and to meet other parents in the Trinity family.
Other ways you can stay involved at TCS:
MONDAY MORNING PRAYER SERVICE: The Trinity Catholic family begins each week with an All School Prayer service in our cafeteria at 8:45. Each class takes turns preparing and presenting our Monday morning prayer. Birthday wishes are extended to all who are celebrating birthdays for that week. Students who stand out demonstrating Christian values are recognized each week as “Disciples in Action.” Parents of students being recognized as “Disciples in Action” will be notified in advance so they can attend and witness their child receiving such a special award. Parents, grandparents and parishioners are invited and encouraged to attend our Monday Morning Prayer Services. It is a wonderful and joyful way to begin each week.
VOLUNTEERS: Our volunteers are the lifeblood of Trinity Catholic and we are greatly blessed by their active participation in our school. We strongly encourage all of our parents and grandparents to take on an active role in some way at Trinity Catholic. All individuals who volunteer in the school, whether they are in direct contact with students or not, must complete a VIRTUS training session and will be asked to complete the diocesan mandated background check. Volunteers will only have to go through Virtus training one time. All volunteers are expected to dress appropriately. Clothing should be modest and neat. Our volunteers embody Christian values in our school setting.
